Kaohsiung Heti Elementary School and the Department of Foreign Language Instruction at Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages joined forces for the ninth time to host a two-day International Education Week event from January 14 to 15, 2025.  This year’s theme, “AI Imagination Lab,” incorporated the latest generative AI (AIGC) technologies, offering students a unique interdisciplinary experience.

During the event, students worked in groups, focusing on eight endangered species from different regions around the world, including pandas, tigers, blue whales, sea turtles, Asian elephants, tree frogs, penguins, and orcas. First- to sixth-grade students were given just 30 minutes to create English song lyrics about these endangered animals and design a related image. To inspire creativity, various generative AI tools—including Suno, ChatGPT, Padlet, and Microsoft Designer—were used to help students transform their ideas into digital works. By the end of the event, students and teachers had collaboratively produced over 150 songs and 150 images, demonstrating their rich imagination and enthusiasm for creation.
