【外語教學學報】徵稿公告

Wenzao Ursuline College of Languages

Journal of Foreign Language Instruction





Journal of Foreign Language Instruction, a professional, peer-reviewed journal published annually by the Department of Foreign Language Instruction, Wenzao Ursuline College of Languages, Taiwan. It seeks relevant works from academic scholars regarding the area of foreign language instruction.

Journal of Foreign Language Instruction invites submissions of unpublished articles on a wide range of topics, especially of the following areas:


 

Ø   Curriculum Development

Ø   Intercultural Communication and Language Education

Ø   Multimedia Technology in Language Education

Ø   Learner Autonomy

Ø   ESP/EAP

Ø   Assessment and Evaluation

Ø   Teacher Development

Ø   Educational Psychology

Ø   Others related to foreign language learning and teaching

 



Submission Guidelines

1. We invite two types of manuscripts:

        A.   “Full-length Articles” seek manuscripts which present empirical research with original data


               collected from sound research methods. The manuscripts should not exceed  6500 words


               (references, tables, footnotes included)


        B.    “Brief Reports” seek manuscripts which present preliminary findings or aspects of a larger study

                with empirical data. The manuscripts should not exceed 3500 words (references, tables,

                footnotes included).

        Both types of manuscripts should be typewritten in English and double-spaced on one side of white 

       A4 paper. The total word counts should be indicated at the end of the manuscript.

2. Abstracts of no more than 300 words are required and should precede the text of the article.

3. Article title, author’s name, institutional affiliation and contact information should be provided on the

    cover page.

4. Authors should closely follow the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association

    (6th ed.).

5.  Manuscript submission indicates the author’s commitment to publish in Journal of Foreign Language

    Instruction and given the journal first publication rights.

6.  The Journal of Foreign Language Instruction editor reserves the right to make editorial changes in

    manuscripts accepted for publication.

7.  Submission deadline: January 15, 2013.



Submissions should be made electronically. In addition, 3 copies of the manuscript and the author’s profile should be sent by postal services to the following mailing address.
